NDMTSS - Developing Your MTSS Playbook (April 14th, 2026) [Single-Day Event]

PREREQUISITES:  Participants must have previously completed any of the following opportunities to participate in this workshop.

  • NDMTSS Building Your System; NDMTSS Foundations: Enancing Conditions for Success; NDMTSS Developing Pathways for Academics
  • NDMTSS Developing School-wide Behavior Expectations

DESCRIPTION:

Successful teams, in sports and/or business, have a well-defined plan for success. School improvement should be no different. This session is designed for school teams to begin the development of, or, revise the current version of their school’s Playbook for the purpose of clearly communicating “the way we do business,” determining a roadmap for expansion, extension or innovation of current efforts, and sustaining continuous improvement over time.

Participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the rationale for developing a Playbook
  • Identify essential chapters for their Playbook
  • Create a Playbook
  • Identify school improvement needs,
  • Communicate and sustain the essential components of school improvement

DELIVERY: This event will be delivered over 1 full-day face-to-face session.

PRESENTERS: 

  • Shannon Harken - Harken Consulting
  • Brandie Ulland - SEEC Professional Learning Specialist
  • Jennifer Glasheen - NDMTSS State Director

AUDIENCE:  School leadership teams including administrators, special educators, instructional coaches, MTSS coordinators, lead teachers, counselors.  It is NOT required to attend as a team, but it is encouraged.

CREDIT:  This opportunity is being offered for 6.5 hours of Cafeteria Credit.
