This two-day conference is coming back to engage and empower school-based therapists in the realm of occupational and physical therapy. With a focus on supporting school-based therapists in our state to refine, strengthen, and deepen implementation of the current evidence, the conference sessions are specifically designed for our therapists no matter of their years of experience in the educational sector. This year the conference will expand foundational knowledge, build connections, and provide expertise from national and state-based experts around evidence based-practices and current research.
The topics include Related Services knowledge and assessment, collaborative goal writing, service delivery, updates from DPI, introduction to the CO-OP approach, handwriting interventions, DCD identification and management, and school-based Medicaid billing. We are excited to provide this conference with a variety of sessions that address and support the efforts and continuous improvement of work being done across the state.
