Description
NOTE: An additional offering of this workshop is being hosted in Fargo on August 12th. If that location is more preferred, you may register for that event using this link.
This year’s workshop will have a specific focus on these two topics:
Choice Ready Grants
We realize that August is not an ideal time to hold the Choice Ready Workshops, which is why they have been held in October in past years.
As we all know, the ESSER deadline is September 30, 2024. We have identified a plan to use ESSER funding to provide ND high school students with limited services for an additional year; however, this means we need to have the workshops in August and have applications due by Sept 6, 2024. We will highlight this process at the workshops.
Four-Year Rolling Plan
The required four-year rolling plan is a pinnacle element in our Choice Ready Framework. Members of the Statewide ESSA Committee have been working with Golden Path Solutions to capture this plan within Compass. Patrick Mineer will present on this topic at the workshops.
The workshops will share the following information:
- Choice Ready results from 2023-2024
- Alignment between Choice Ready framework and new state scholarship
- Accessing the Choice Ready Report
- Address the Alternate Choice Ready Framework
- Workforce Ready updates
