REGISTRATION: This series is for schools who have previously completed NDMTSS Building Your System. An MOU is required to register for this event. When clicking "Register" you'll be directed to the MOU for completion. DESCRIPTION: This training, intended for a leadership team, is designed utilize the NDMTSS Essential Components to solve problems at the school, classroom, and student level. Emphasis will be given to translating current educational research practice to help schools maximize resources and outcomes for all students. Examples of data systems for universal screening and progress monitoring will be identified, as well as specific interventions and curricula to address problems at a systems level.
DELIVERY: This professional learning series will be offered as a combination of 1 one-hour virtual kickoff, 4 full-day face-to-face sessions, 2 two-hour online coaching calls, and a spring site visit.
PRESENTER: Wayne Callender (national RTI consultant at Partners for Learning)
AUDIENCE: School leadership teams of 6-10 individuals; including Administrators (REQUIRED to have at least one); special educators; instructional coaches; MTSS coordinators; lead teachers; counselors.
CREDIT: 2 graduate continuing education credits available for application through VCSU after participating in all required sessions/activities and submitting the application fee.
COST: $4,800/team of 6 (+$160/person over 6)
Your school will be invoiced for the total provided on the MOU that your school submitted.
Virtual Leadership Sessions and Coaching Calls will be hosted via Zoom.
Full-day face-to-face sessions will be hosted at the North Dakota Farmers Union building.
