DESCRIPTION: 

Ready to turn your MTSS vision into reality? This professional learning series is designed for school leadership teams who are ready to lead with purpose. Through interactive sessions and collaborative planning, participants will explore the North Dakota Multi-Tier System of Supports (NDMTSS) and learn how to apply its principles to create lasting change. 

This isn’t just theory—it’s action. You’ll break down complex systems into manageable steps, streamline team roles, and use data to drive decisions that improve student outcomes. Whether you're just starting or refining your MTSS efforts, this training will meet you where you are. 

You'll Learn To:

  • Build a strong MTSS team and infrastructure
  • Use assessments to guide instruction and intervention
  • Apply the Instructional Hierarchy to support all learners
  • Lead effective, data-driven team meetings
  • Foster staff buy-in and build implementation capacity

OBJECTIVES: 

  • Gain a clear understanding of NDMTSS and its five Essential Components
  • Establish and clarify MTSS leadership team roles and responsibilities
  • Understand the types and purposes of assessment
  • Apply the Instructional Hierarchy
  • Identify key measures and meeting structures for data-based decision making
  • Apply a collaborative problem-solving model for continuous improvement
  • Develop sustainable, system-wide infrastructure and processes for MTSS implementation

DELIVERY: This professional learning series will be delivered over 4 full-day face-to-face sessions and an online coaching call.

AUDIENCE:  School leadership teams of 6-10 individuals; including Administrators (REQUIRED to have at least one); special educators; instructional coaches; MTSS coordinators; lead teachers; counselors.

CREDIT:  2 graduate continuing education credits available for application through VCSU after participating in all required sessions/activities and submitting the application fee.

Pricing

COST: $3,000 per team of 6 (+$300 per additional person)

*A completed and signed MOU is required prior to registration
