NOTE: This training is being offered as part of a collection of different trainings specific to math educators. Most sessions will be offered twice to allow more people to attend as they will NOT be recorded. Participants may attend any/all opportunities that are of interest to them. Each event must be registered for separately:
Topic | Option 1 | Option 2 |

Participants will refine CFAs developed earlier this summer (via the online course) or create new CFAs for the remaining units, ensuring assessment items span tasks aligned with the North Dakota attributes, proficiency scales, and the five mathematical proficiency strands. The session will also cover establishing common scoring agreements. Educators will then delve into the formative assessment process, enabling students to engage in self-reflection and set meaningful learning goals. By integrating these practices, teachers can foster a growth mindset and empower students to take ownership of their learning journey.
